I shouldn't have been surprised by how many fabulous restaurants Mount Holyoke women run—from New York's La Lunchonette to the farmer-driven Guadalupe Cafe in Sylva, North Carolina. There are also MHC women running up-start kombucha companies (Portland, Oregon), gluten-free bakeries (Miss Nicky's Gourmet Toffee in Montclair, New Jersey) and coffee shops (Costa Rica).
