Hannah Wallace is a Portland-based journalist who writes about regenerative agriculture, climate, food, startups, and more. She writes for Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Pursuits, Civil Eats, Dwell, Fast Company, Food & Wine, Inc., Reasons to be Cheerful, Vogue, Wired, and the New York Times, among other places. She is also a freelance editor. Born in England, she grew up in Westminster, Maryland and Salem, Oregon and then went on to study art history and literature at Mount Holyoke College. After spending nearly a decade on staff at Travel + Leisure magazine, she jumped ship to freelance.
Today she lives with her husband in Portland, Oregon, where—when she's not busy interviewing chefs about climate-related supply chain disruptions or touring pscilocybin clinics you'll find her jogging in Laurelhurst Park. She also founded the Sunnyside Shower Project, where she still volunteers.
