Hannah Wallace is a Portland-based journalist who writes about food politics, wine, cannabis, sustainable agriculture, integrative medicine, and travel. She writes for Civil Eats, Fast Company, Food & Wine, Inc., Portland Monthly, SevenFifty Daily, Vogue, and the New York Times, among other places. She is also a freelance editor. Born in England to American parents, she grew up in Westminster, Maryland and Salem, Oregon and then went on to attend Mount Holyoke College. After spending nearly a decade on staff at Travel + Leisure magazine, she jumped ship to freelance.
Today she lives with her husband and step-daughter in Portland, Oregon, where—when she's not busy visiting organic pot farms or touring pastured chicken operations —you'll find her at a yoga studio or running in Laurelhurst Park. (Or, OK, at a food cart.)
